Wow…We are celebrating the end of our 4th year of hosting “Love and Respect” classes on the island of Kauai.  So many amazing stories of lives transformed!

I had a fight with my husband tonight and I’m at a total loss for knowing what to do now.  Essentially, what happened was this…He’s much better with computers than I am so I asked him for help with an issue I was having with ours.  After giving me his advice, I asked him if he was sure and then continued with more clarifying questions.  He got really annoyed and shot back, “It’s simple enough for a 3rd grader to do.”  So, then I shot back with some remarks, including a parallel to the way his father is–which didn’t go over so well.  In the end, he said, “You’re always right.  I’m always wrong,” and then he just shut down.   This always happens when we argue.  So, what do I do?

One of the biggest mistakes we make is that we “think” our acts of love are respectful and we “think” our acts of respect are loving.

What we “think” may not be true…  🙂

We are so excited that “Love and Repect” classes are now in session in 5 islandwide locations.   The response from those attending their first “L&R” class has been overwhelming.  Many returnees have also been seen at the classes.

Our goal is to provide information to husbands and wives that will help them  understand each other better, and in turn communicate more effectively to each other.   However, the classes are not only for married couples.  Many singles can benefit from this class.  The principles are helpful in all human relationships, especially between a male and female.

Calvary Chapel North Shore at the Kilauea theater will start  Love and Respect classes on Wednesday, Jan 16, 2013 at 6:30pm

Starts Jan 16, 2013, Wednesday nights,  6:30-8:00pm  (for 5 Wednesday nights):

Classes are FREE to the Kauai community and start at 6:30 till  8:00pm every Wednesday for 5 weeks.  Be sure to check it out!   Many marriages have benefitted from these classes…you won’t want to miss it!   Classes at all 5 locations (Kilauea, Kapaa, Lihue, Omao, Waimea) will run for 5 weeks.
